CAC REQUESTS REGISTERED BUSINESSES TO VALIDATE THEIR ACCOUNTS.

Dear Esteemed Professional Colleagues,

I hope this message meets you well? I write with respect to the recent request by the Corporate Affairs Commission for registered businesses (i.e. Limited Liability Companies, Enterprises and Associations) to validate their accounts with the CAC.

Currently, the status of all registered businesses have been put on inactive mode; by default. What is expected is that every business should visit search.cac.gov.ng to validate their businesses using a paid service. When you visit the site, follow the step by step instructions, as attached herein. You will be required to pay N1,000 via remita. Once you have followed the step by step approach, and paid for the service. Please login and view the status of your account and send any feedback to spu@cac.gov.ng. A timeline of March 31st is attached to this exercise. At the expiration of this timeline, any company that is not validated will be deleted and assumed not to be in existence! It was further stated that defaulting companies will be made to go through rigorous process for validation at the expiration of this timeline.

I therefore use this medium to implore you to ensure that your respective businesses are validated before the allowed timeline.
