At the expiration of the Seven (7) day ultimatum given by the Organised Labour to Ogun State Government to attend to issues affecting the welfare of Civil/Public Servants in Ogun State.
Organised Labour Ogun State, has declared and embarked on an indefinite strike since Monday 27th June, 2022.
Thereby, the entire Arm of Government and Judiciary and the Civil Service in Ogun State have been crippled and shut down indefinitely.
The attendants consequences viz: daily loss of revenue to the State Government, predetainees in custody, delays in arraignment of suspects, detainees in ongoing criminal cases, self-help etc.
To this end, we therefore hereby urge the Ogun State Government to move swiftly to resolve the ongoing indefinite strike in the interest of the State.
