BREAKING NEWS: NBA EFFURUN BRANCH UNVEILS NEWLY EXPANDED BAR CENTRE AHEAD OF LAW WEEK 2026.

EFFURUN, DELTA STATE – In a significant boost to legal practice infrastructure in Delta State, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Effurun Branch, famously known as the "Dynamic Bar", has officially completed a major expansion and remodelling of its Bar Centre.

​The project, personally overseen and showcased by the esteemed Chairman, William Onoriode Ewenode Esq., marks a new era for the branch. The redesigned facility features a modernised exterior, a state-of-the-art glass entrance, and a vastly increased interior capacity designed to host high-level legal gatherings.

​The unveiling comes at a pivotal moment as the branch prepares to host its highly anticipated Law Week 2026, themed:

"Advocacy Unplugged: Timeless Skills and Modern Tools"

​The newly expanded Bar Centre, located within the High Court Premises in GRA, Effurun, will serve as the primary venue for this prestigious event.

​The two-day legal symposium features a heavy-hitting lineup of speakers:

  • April 30th (10:00 AM):
    • Topic: The Evidence Act and Examination.
    • Speaker: The renowned Prof. Ernest Ojukwu, SAN.
  • May 1st (10:00 AM):
    • Topic: Grounds of Appeal & Brief Writing.
    • Speaker: The Hon. Justice Abimbola O. Obaseki-Adejumo, JCA.
    • Topic: Ethical Advocacy in the Digital Age: Preserving Professional Integrity Amidst Technological Innovation and Social Media Evolution.
