CELEBRATING A DECADE OF EXCELLENCE: MRS OYINKANSOLA BADEJO-OKUSANYA SAN, FCIArb, CELEBRATES NBA EFFURUN AT 10.

Mrs Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, FCIArb (Mrs B), has commended the Nigerian Bar Association, Effurun Branch, for what she described as a decade of remarkable growth, innovation, and institutional advancement in the legal profession.

Reflecting on the Branch’s ten-year journey, she highlighted its forward-thinking digitisation initiatives, the strategic acquisition of a befitting Bar Centre, and the implementation of robust welfare packages tailored to improve the professional and personal well-being of its members. According to her, these milestones are indicative of a Branch that is not only responsive to the evolving demands of modern legal practice but also deeply committed to the collective progress of its membership.

Mrs Badejo-Okusanya further noted the symbolic and auspicious presence of both past and present leadership of the Association at the anniversary celebration, acknowledging the visionary role of Chief Augustine Alegeh, SAN, who midwifed the establishment of the Branch during his tenure as President of the NBA, as well as Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, who served as General Secretary at the time and now leads the Association as President. She described this rare convergence of leadership as a profound testament to the Branch’s enduring relevance and a fitting blessing upon its 10th-anniversary celebration.

As the evening gave way to a resplendent gala, Mrs Badejo-Okusanya’s characteristic poise and camaraderie added colour and warmth to the commemorative festivities, rounding off what was a truly memorable celebration of legacy, leadership, and shared aspirations for the future.
