I STILL RECOLLECT, WITH SOMETHING AKIN TO AWE, WHEN I HAD TO TAKE A MESSAGE FROM OUR BRANCH TO PROFESSOR YEMI OSHINBAJO (THEN THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF LAGOS STATE), THE INCUMBENT VICE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, AND AS I STEPPED INTO THE CONFERENCE ROOM WHERE THE AG WAS ATTENDING TO AN IMPORTANT BUSINESS, I MET YOU ALONE IN THE COMPANY OF THE AG, THE TWO OF YOU SITTING DOWN TOGETHER - FACE-TO-FACE - HAVING SOME SERIOUS DISCUSSION - LIKE TWO LONG-LOST FRIENDS.
I HAVE BEEN AT SEVERAL ANNUAL CONFERENCES WITH YOU TO WITNESS WITH ADMIRATION HOW YOU PERSONALLY KNEW EVERYBODY OR ANYBODY WHO MATTERED IN THE NBA NATIONAL - AND THEY ALL EQUALLY KNEW YOU ON PERSONAL NAME BASIS. AND I COULD NOT STOP WONDERING HOW YOU BECAME SO POPULAR - EVEN TILL THIS VERY PRESENT MOMENT.
I HUMBLY FURTHER PRAY THAT MAY YOUR DREAM COME TRUE - ENJOYING A LONG LIFE OF PROSPERITY AND GOOD HEALTH.

The fault for the values you have highlighted are actually traceable to you as a formidable pillars upon which the NBA Ikorodu Branch is anchored. Who are the other pillars, if any interested colleagues may ask? The answer certainly is for another day but your good and honourable self and the remaining formidable pillars and founding fathers know these.
The truth however is that i am the fish while you and the other formidable pillars make up the water. The fish without water is useless, irrelevant and in fact is as good as dead.
May the Almighty continue to sustain and elevate us even as He continues to show us into the right path.
